In part 2, I design and fabricate the secondary air box, which will allow air to be brought in from under the car. I use Adobe Illustrator to create the box pieces and then use a laser cutter to cut the shapes. Finally, I assemble the box and test fit it in the car.
I install a custom air box that I got from Japan into my 1985 Mazda RX-7. In part 1, I relocate the radiator coolant overflow reservoir in order to make room for the air box.
In this video, I show you how I relocated the battery and installed a battery cutoff switch in my ’85 Mazda RX-7. This car has a custom dash, which both complicated and simplified the installation process. Check the video out here:
